GiGi

This was the sunrise this morning. Isn't that beautiful?

We have a new family member of the four-legged variety, because, you know, I needed another dog (she makes six).  Meet GiGi:

People keep telling me she's ugly but I don't know why they are saying that. ;) Precious baby. GiGi is another rescue dog and she is already fitting right in. Schroeder is all about her. She is a full-blooded Affenpinscher and is about a year old. I took her to the vet and got her checked out and got her her first shots. She'll go back in about three weeks and be spayed. I just already adore her. She's a sweetheart.

Oh, and we got our first eggs from the hens today! Look:
