Today was wonderful. I spent a few hours with my Dad and stepmother, and afterwards I drove down an old dirt road down the mountain to meet my hubby for lunch.
On the way down the dirt road I got to the old pond and saw three different types of birds that I've never seen before, including that Ring-necked Duck in the photo above.
I also saw Blue-winged Teals:
And these Pied-billed Grebes, even though my photo of them isn't great:
When I got home I went four-wheeling with my hubby. It was just an excellent day. The temps are getting warmer and we're supposed to have a beautiful weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.
