Fort Pulaski

Fort Pulaski Originally uploaded by Rachel Pennington.

I am still cropping photos to make them small enough to share on my Flickr account and my photo groups; only about 380 more to go! :)

This photo was taken at Fort Pulaski on Tybee Island. The fort is beautiful. In each of these sections they had cannons lined up--you can see the indentions in the floor where the cannons were rolled to whatever direction they needed to be fired.

I can't wait to get back down to Tybee Island!

One of my favorite historical vacation spots. Haven't been there in years, and really hope to while we're in Savannah this summer. I'll have a digital camera this time, so I'm sure there will be many, many photos to deal with!

I absolutely LOVE this picture! I know I already told you, but it is just wonderful. I think this is one for the art show!
