I thought today was going to be the perfect day, and it almost was.

We started the day off by playing baseball. Hubby had to work but he made it to the game in time. After the game Cain went to his girlfriend's house, Brooke went on a date, and Marshall got paged to work. I came home and sat by myself for a few hours, but I walked around the yard and took lots of photos so that made everything ok. ;) I got this one of the lilacs and bumblebee. Those lilacs smell like heaven.

When Marshall got home from work we went out to eat and then came home and walked around the yard to enjoy all of the flowering bushes. The yard is absolutely beautiful in the spring.

Today is my sister's birthday. She's 41. She lives in North Carolina and never ever ever calls me. I'm not sure where our relationship got to the point where we just don't talk, but I have made every effort to stay in touch with her and she doesn't bother to do the same. For years it hurt my feelings, but now I'm over it. :) Happy Birthday, Kamille. I love you. Butthead.
