Yay! I love Saturdays. :) Everyone was home today. The kids went shopping for school clothes and got some pretty nice things. Georgia has a tax-free holiday for school clothes, school supplies, computers, and such as that. It's really nice.
When they got home they told me about their friend, Smiley, who was killed in a auto accident last night. :( They were both pretty sad about it. He was only 19 (maybe 20). That's two friends they've lost in just three years.
After supper last night (roast and potatoes & carrots, green beans, corn, mac & cheese--yum, yum!) we walked around the yard a bit. We really need to clean out our gutters. Trees are sprouting in the back gutter. I told hubby he needed to get up there and pull them all out--or at least prune them back a bit. :) Hee hee!
