My Baby is Gone!

No, not one of my kids...my digital Rebel. I sent it off this morning to the Canon Repair Center. I may or may not have cried a little when the postman pried it out of my hands, it just depends on who you ask. ;)

Priority Shipping for the camera was $17.50 and that included insurance and delivery confirmation. The postman stamped "Fragile" (that's "Frageelee" for all of you Christmas Story fans) all over the box for me. The postman is my new best friend. I love him. At least for three more weeks, which is how long it will be before my camera returns to me.

When I got back home from the post office this morning, which was around 11, and only an hour after I had a big ol' honkin' bowl of Cheerios, I changed clothes and went out and started mowing our acre of land.

I'd say I had been mowing for a good two hours when I realized that it probably wasn't a good idea to mow in the Georgia heat and humidty with milk and Cheerios rumbling around in my tummy. I didn't get sick--but only because I kept talking myself out of it. I think this is the second time I've done that. When will I ever learn? ;)

I ended up mowing for about three and a half hours before I finally just couldn't do it anymore(we have a push mower, lots of trees, AND we're on a slope on one side and a creek runs on the other side). Hubby took over for me for what little bit was left and I came in and took the coldest shower I could stand. It was like buttah and I felt great.

I have changed websites as you are probably are aware of by now. I figure if I'm going to have a photography business then I need to use my name instead of a flower's name for my website. I have no idea what I'm going to do w/the new website. I have tons of ideas and no clue how to make them a reality. :)
