We went out to the mountain today to have a 4th of July cookout with all of my hubby's extended family. We had a great time but it poured down rain, and there was thunder and lightning almost the whole time we were there. Didn't matter though, we still enjoyed it. :)
My in-laws have a newborn Texas Longhorn. This is him with his mother, Ethel (his father's name is Fred). He has the cutest brown circle around his mouth and eyes.
Tomorrow we will go to my Daddy's for a cookout. I'm really looking forward to it.
I hope to spend some time with my mother on Tuesday before Brooke and I leave for her college orientation. :)
