Daddy Paints

Daddy Paints

Today was a productive day. I got up and took Touk to school and then came home and washed a couple of loads of clothes. I went and got cleaning supplies and groceries, washed dishes, folded clothes and made supper. I'm glad that I got most of my chores done today so that I can spend the weekend doing things I like to do instead of things I have to do. :)

Hubby is in a golf tournament this weekend so we're not going to go back to Savannah with Brooke. She's going to drive down Saturday and then we'll go down the weekend after next to take her a few more of her things. I guess since Cain and I will be home alone I will see if I can beg him to go see that penguin movie with me. :)

I sneaked (snuck?) my daughter out of school this week to see the penguin movie! It is really amazing. Stay for the credits. I asked my kids what they would do if I went to Antarctica myself to visit them! (They of course looked at me like I'd lost my mind--but surely I wasn't even a little bit serious...was I?) Just can't stop thinking about those penguins and what they go through to hatch an egg!

Your dad must be Ken P. I think he led my husband and me (with a group) on a tour of Civil War sites around Trenton many years ago. No wonder you are so artistic.

Hi Ellen. :) We didn't go see March of the Penguins, although we should've because of the rain. :(

And yes, that's my Dad. :) He's quite a character.
