Go Ahead & Laugh...

Ok, I have a confession to make: I've been reading and not much else for the past week. Want to know what I've been reading? The Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I am absolutely smitten with them. They are the best books I think I've read in ages.

I always wanted to read the books, and I was a bookworm as a child, but I just never got around to reading these. I'm SO glad that I finally got a chance to do it. No, I don't mind going into the children's section of the library and finding the books. And heck, if I were still in school I'd be zipping through the Accelerated Reader program and I'm surely WAY above the 3.5-5.7 grade-level the books say I'm on. :)

If you haven't read them, do so. You'll be happy you did. No, seriously, you really will be. :)

I love the Little House series also. I have them all and every once in awhile I'll pick them up and read them all over again. After you are finished with these you might want to check out the Rose Wilder series and the Caroline years also. They are very good reads. If you are interested I will give you the titles, author, and ISBN numbers for you to look them up.

Oh how interesting. I beat they're full of trees. Trees, trees and nothing but trees as far as the eye can see, the legs can walk and the sun and moon can shine. I bet if you walk north, south, east or west you'll find forests surrounded by trees far belong the little house in the woods. Trees along the paths that get swallowed by more trees. Trees that are so big and tall they get tangle in the sky with all the other trees.

Never ending paths of trees, baby trees, momma trees, papa trees, brother & sister trees. Even great big grandpa trees, growing along side the grandma trees. Trees as big as the sky growns, trees reaching to every coast of the oceans and seas. Ahh yes, trees in the front, back and sides of the yard, trees that link to every home and unknown land from miles and miles. Trees knowone had dare even dream of in the little house in the woods....
