Merry Christmas Eve!

It's 4:40 p.m. and we're supposed to be on Sand Mountain by 6:30 to celebrate Jesus' birth with our families. I'm still sitting here in my gown, after just getting out of the shower about an hour and a half ago. The other three folks in my family are all asleep. They all had to work today and I sat on the couch like a slug, only oozing off to get myself something drink or to feed the cats and dog.

I'm excited about tonight and also a little apprehensive about going to my aunt's for Christmas. This will be our first Christmas without my uncle and my mother has already called twice today, crying and telling me that I "need to be there" for her. I just worry about how the night is going to go.

After we leave there we'll be going to Marshall's parents house and we always have a blast there. :) We do the Shaggy Santa thing and it's always a ton of fun. Marshall has three siblings so there's always a large crowd there and I really enjoy it. :)

I hope your holidays are beautiful!

I'm glad you went to your Aunt's she DID need the family's presence. You did well my friend.
