L-O-N-G Day!

This morning I got up when Marshall left for work and got ready, then got Cain and his friend Jake up so they could get ready for their ballgame. We were at the school by 9 a.m. and then headed for Atlanta.

I rode with my friend Kathy and we had fun just catching up with each other and laughing about everything in the world. I hardly ever get to see her anymore, which makes me sad, but we always have a good time when we're together. She bought me some sea blue Crocs for my birthday because she had heard me comment before how cute I think they are (the blue matches Cain's school colors). I JUST love them. They are sooooooo comfortable and honestly, they don't weigh much of anything at all. :)

The game didn't last very long at all. We got run-ruled in the fifth inning, which is pretty sad. Cain struck out twice but had a fantastic defensive game. We just aren't hitting this year. :( It took us longer to drive down there than to watch the game.

I wish they had played on a different day because today sure was pretty. I'd much rather been taking pictures somewhere.
