Spring Beauties

These are called "Spring Beauties" or more specifically "Claytonia virginica." They are all over my yard. Well, they WERE all over my yard until I mowed today. :( They really are pretty and the blooms aren't as big around as a dime. One of my buddies said that they have to go to the mountains to see them. That would stink. :(

Cain played baseball and we got stomped. The score was 20-6. I don't know what's wrong w/the team. We have talent but the talent just seem to all work together or something. Cain had a couple of good hits though, so we were proud. :0)

We kept our eyes on the sky during the game. We are supposed to get hit pretty yard by horrible weather tonight. 10 people are already dead tonight in Nashville from the tornadoes that this storm has produced. Nashville is two hours northwest of us.

I hope that everyone is safe tonight.

Those storms hit here. One area south of us got golf ball size hail while we only got pea sized hail. I called home from work to check on mom and Corey.

In our neck of the woods, we call them 'pinks'...I think I have pics of them from last year. They cover the woodland floor.
