I got up at 7 this morning as Kandi and I were going to go to Mentone (Alabama) to shoot some of the beautiful fall colors. I knew when I walked in the living room to get my phone that it wouldn't be a good idea to go. My chimes on the front porch were blowing like crazy and sure enough, I had a message from Kandi saying that the wind was really bad. We opted not to go.
I just went ahead and stayed up, took my shower, and got ready and then got Cain and Marshall up so that we could get him to the doctor. The dr. took an x-ray of his shoulder and said it looked good. He went ahead and gave him a sling to wear over the weekend just so he wouldn't use it very much and he will be back to practicing on Monday.
I've been working in the yard today. I need to rake but today it would've been a lost cause. Leaves were blowing all over creation. I like working in my yard. It makes me feel good. :)
Today's Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt (link above) is "Safe." It made me think of this photo, one of my absolute favorite photos, is of Brooke and Cain. Brooke was keeping Cain safe from our Doberman, Danda. Hubby was throwing a tennis ball and Danda would chase it. Brooke was just making sure Cain didn't get knocked over. :)

That's such a cute picture of your kids!
It was very windy here yesterday...I took some pictures just around the yard but didn't stay out there long...that wind was cold!
Hope you have a nice Sunday :))
If you put a goatee on that lil' boy he'd look just like his dad!
Wahhahah!
I know I have said it before, but that is the cutest picture.
