Dinner was great, so everyone said. This is the first year I made sweet potato casserole using my grandmother's recipe. Marshall went on and on about it, as did my grandfather. I don't eat sweet potatoes so I couldn't tell you if they were fibbing or not.
After dinner I took some photos of the kids together for this year's Christmas card. I didn't get any good ones though because my camera is messing up and I had to use Cain's. I forgot to change the settings on his camera so the color is messed up on the shots I took. :(
We all relaxed for a while after Grandpa left and then we got ready and went on the mtn. to my aunt's house. We got to visit with my Dad, aunts, uncles, and cousins. And of course we ate again. :) We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.
I took the time to reflect on all the things that I'm thankful for, like my family, my friends, that my 89-year old grandpa still makes the trip down the mtn. to have Thanksgiving dinner with us, that I get to spend my weekdays w/such wonderful co-workers, and that my hubby lets me put my tree up so early. ;)
Hope you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving!
