It's Too Warm

This is the "old" Christmas tree that was going to be tossed out at work. I brought it home and it's sitting on my front porch. Looks beautiful, doesn't it? :) It would look better in the photo if you couldn't see my chimes behind it.

Today Marshall had to work so I got up at 5 when he got up and took my shower and got ready. I woke Brooke up and she and I went to Goody's so that she could use the $50 gift card that Marshall's boss got her for Christmas. She found two or three cute things. :) They gave her a $10 coupon so she used that and bought me a pair of shoes for $14.99 (I gave her $6 to cover what the coupon didn't). I just love the shoes--if I can get used to walking in them. :)

We came back home and Brooke took a nap and I folded some clothes and straightened the house a little bit. I woke her up and had Cain get ready and we went to Fort Oglethorpe and saw a movie. We saw "Stranger Than Fiction," which stars Will Ferrell. It was an ok movie but I'd recommend waiting for it to come out on video. There were about 10 people in the theater and the three of us were the only ones I heard laugh throughout the whole movie.

Speaking of laughing, I've always loved the way that me, Brooke, and Cain all burst out laughing at the same time, at the same things, when no-one else is laughing. It always gives me a secret smile when that happens.

Tomorrow Marshall has to work again so me and Brooke (Cain has to work, too) are going to go out on the mtn. to see Marshall's mom and Dad. We're also going over to my cousin's house to see our new baby cousin. :)
