Then you feel your way back into the living room because you can't see anything from the smoke that has filled your kitchen from the self-cleaning process. You'll be letting the pie cool for 20 minutes, well, after you've drizzled caramel over the top of it...or at least you hope it's caramel and not the Texas Pete Hot Sauce that was right NEXT to the caramel...you can't really be sure, what with all the smoke and all...

PILGRIM PIE
Prep time: 20 min.
Baking time: 45 min.
Difficulty: Easy
What you'll need:
- For the Pie Filling
- 1 bag SNICKERS® Brand Miniatures
- 1 piecrust (9-inch ready-made)
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- For Crumb Toppping
- 1/2 cup MILKY WAY® Brand Caramel Topping
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 1 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces
What to do:
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- To make the filling: Unwrap and roughly chop the SNICKERS® Brand Miniatures. Melt them in the top of a double boiler. When the candy is soft enough to shape, spread it along the bottom and sides of the piecrust.
- Toss the apple slices with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract.
- Pile the apples into the piecrust. Set aside.
- To make the crumb topping:
In a large mixing bowl, blend the flour, sugar and nutmeg. Using your fingers, rub the butter into the flour mixture until it becomes coarse and crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping over the apples, covering the top completely.
Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for approximately 45 minutes. - Once baked, remove pie from the oven and drizzle MILKY WAY® Brand Caramel Topping over the crust.
- Cool for 20 minutes before serving.
Tip: It’s always nice to serve vanilla ice cream with hot apple pie.
Makes 1 9-inch pie.

um looks yummy but i am all left hands when it comes to real baking...i think i'll just sniff your picture.
