It's Almost Too Late

If you haven't had a chance to get out and enjoy the fall colors, you better do it tomorrow. The leaves are peaking and I bet they won't even be here by next week.

I made Cain call in to work this morning because his leg was bothering him so bad. He has never called in work before so I'm sure that things will be fine. He's fine if he doesn't have to stand, but since he DOES have to stand at work, I figure he'll be better if he just waits until tomorrow to go back. If his leg is NOT better by in the morning, I'm going to take him to the after-hours clinic just to make sure it's nothing serious.

He did come with me to take pictures of the fall leaves (he took them mostly from the comfort of his car seat). The leaves are SO beautiful. I honestly didn't think they would be very colorful this year because we didn't have significant rainfall, but I was wrong. They are just chock-full of color. We had a great day together. I'm sure glad he came along for the ride. I don't want to mention that his photos are better than mine, but I will. The little butthead...
