Sometimes...

I'm not having a very good day and I don't know how to make things better. Sometimes it seems like everything I do is wrong. Ever have one of those days? Ugh...I need a punching bag (seriously).

More later, but not on that topic. :)

Woo hoo! Look at Cain:
Cain's senior banquet for football was tonight and besides his senior award (the large one there), he also received the MVP award, Defensive Back of the Year award, and the Stacy Searls award, which is awarded to the player who is most dedicated, a hard worker, shows his love for football and some other stuff I can't remember. I'm very proud for him but I sure shed a lot of tears. This was his last "to do" for his high school football career. :( That's his Dad peeking from behind him and lending him extra hands. :D It was a great banquet and I really, really appreciate the effort that his coaches put into getting everything together. What a great staff. :)

So today, as you may have noticed, I was having a bit of a rough day. I wish I hadn't posted that, but I did. Anyway, things are better now. :)

It's almost 11 and we just got home from the banquet a little bit ago. I'm going to bed so have a good night. :) I leave you with a cute joke my friend Carla sent me, which made me laugh. :)

The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married--for the 4th time. The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation. "He's a funeral director," she answered. "Interesting," the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.

She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came accross her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she'd first married a banker when she was in her early 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, later on a preacher when in her 60's, and now in her 80's, a funeral director. The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.

She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

You're welcome!
