Stormy In Georgia

Well, the storm has moved in and it is LOUD. It's 5:06 p.m. right now and I'd say it started getting loud right at 5. I absolutely love it. :) I thought it was going to rain all night and into the morning but our weatherman says it'll be over after midnight. :( Bummer.

Cain is getting calls from colleges for football. He's had three this week wanting him to come and visit so he'll be starting his visits next week. His first one is an official visit lined up sometime this month for a college in South Carolina and he's pretty excited about that, and so are we. :)

Someone sent me a message on my flickr account to let me know that a "psychic" on kasamba.com is using Brooke's photo (that they found on flickr) as their profile photo. I sent that person an email, and sent an email to kasamba's support and security addresses. What that "psychic" should be envisioning right now is me finding out who they are and kicking their butt. That makes me SO SO mad.

By the way, it's 9:15 p.m. now and I think the worst of the storm has moved on. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.

(Just stuff)

1. I'm trying to switch to caffeine free Diet Coke. Wish me luck with this.

2. I love watching the "reality" show TAPS (Ghost Hunters) on SciFi but it doesn't help at all with my sleeping problem. I truthfully don't know why I watch shows like that, but I do and they scare the soup out of me.

3. I absolutely loathe (LOATHE!) talking on the phone. I'd rather stay in touch by email, please. :) Seriously, I hate it. I think I get that from my father. He hates it, too.

4. I realized today that I basically still eat the same things I ate as a child for lunch. I usually either eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or Spaghettios. I rarely have anything else. I'm 38. I think I need to move on. I just don't know what else to eat. :( I don't like soups too much and lettuce is at LEAST $1.69 a head and when you DO buy it it's mostly brown. Help? I'm horribly, extremely picky, but I'm tired of the same ol' same ol.

5. I think I might be obsessed with calendars. I have them all over the place. I have two hanging on each door of my computer armoire'.

6. I've seriously thought about shaving my head and starting over from scratch. :) And I've been thinking about this WAY before Britney cut hers off. I'll never do it, but I think about doing it.

7. How about just "Thursday Six"? I'm interested in a movie and don't want to do anymore. ;)

Oh, and I appreciate the tips on the biscuit making but I need directions to do the whole thing. How much flour? Do I need a rolling pin? Water? Milk? Crisco?
