TGIF (But I Don't Know Why)

Well, hubby just called and said he'll be working late tonight so there goes any fun plans for tonight. Cain also just called to see if he could go to his girlfriend's house after school, which is fine with me but that means I'll be alone for the evening. That's fine with me I suppose, I just wish my hubby were home. :(

A few of you have emailed me about kasamba.com. I didn't put the direct link to the page Brooke is listed on, but the photo is still there and I haven't heard from anyone either. I did a search of my name today and found other photos on various websites--all without my permission. That really angers me but the truth of the matter is that there's not really much you can do about it. Even though I have "All Rights Reserved" on my photos over at flickr (and pbase too, for that matter), people can still download them. It's a shame people aren't honest and do crap like that. Several people have asked me to use my photos and I always let them. Why can't everyone ask?

Lucy and I went walking again this morning. She had a grand ol' time but the trail was wet from the rain that we had so she's quite dirty now. I love taking her places. If we say, "You wanna go bye bye?!" she goes nuts. I love seeing her try to get into my truck. It looks like me trying to get in Cain's Bronco. :)

I'm super-frustrated with the the photographs I've been taking lately. They're either blurry or the lighting is all off and it seems I just can't get anything right. A lot of you say I'm a good photographer, but if you only knew how bad I really stink at it. :( I just have the photo blahs I guess, which is typical for photographers this time of year. Even so, my photos lately look worse than poop.

Oh, remember a while back when I mentioned how my hands were cracking between each finger? I found something that helps and it was something I've had for months and forgot I had. It's Dionis Skin Salve "with moisturizing goats milk" (mine is the Blue Ridge Wildflower scent). I bought it at Cracker Barrel and found it in a pocketbook I'm not using right now. It does wonders! My hands are much better.

I had lunch with Donna today. I sure have missed her and it was great to see her and catch up on things. I love having girlfriends to hang out with. Donna looked great and I wish we'd have had more time to spend together. It was fun, Donna! Love you. :)

What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life? Being alone at night time, and the story is too long to tell but the Cliff Notes version is that one time I thought a robber broke into the house I grew up in on the mountain. It terrified me and I've never been able to get over it.
