Pops

Today Kandi and I went up to my Daddy's house so that she could get some photos for a website and business card she's designing for him. She worked really hard so kudos to her. :) Trust me, she was a real trooper. (o= While she worked, I goofed off and got some photos of Daddy and the instruments he uses to create his beautiful artwork.

I love all of the many paintbrushes he uses:


He's had that paintbox for longer than he's had me. I told him that I wanted it when he decides to put down his paintbrushes for the last time. It means a lot to me.

We were up there for about five hours and as soon as I got home I started supper. Hubby and Cain surprised me with a bluebird box. It was too dark for them to hang it, but when they do I will get a picture. :)

Did you watch the Grammys the other night? I really love Amy Winehouse's voice. I bought her Back to Black album shortly after it came out and just about wore it out. I really hope she gets her personal life together. It's a shame to see so many of these talented kids falling into all these horrible addictions. Anyway, love her!

Tomorrow I'm starting on Brooke's room. I am looking forward to it and dreading it all at the same time. Wish me luck. :)
