Not Much Today

I took this photo three years ago today in my front yard. This year my tulips haven't bloomed yet. I'm wondering if its the drought we have been in for the past several months. My azaleas are budding so they are about on schedule. I'm distraught over my daffodils though. I waited for them all winter long and nothing--I only had four blooms, and now my tulips aren't blooming either. It makes me so sad.

So honey takes my Ford Explorer to be looked at because it has been rattling lately. You know the rattle that happens when you're running cheap gas or when your oil needs to be changed? Well, the mechanic told him that the timing chains (or something like that) are going bad in it. He said that it didn't sound that bad right now, but that one day we'd go out and start it up and it would just lock up on us. :( He said it would be cheaper to get a new motor. I'm so sad about that, because as you all know, I love that truck. Ugh, it's always something...yes?

I'm a bit "blah" today. I'll let you guess why.

Happy Birthday, Brenda! I love you!

Have a good night---I sure hope I have one. :)

Don't be blah sugar!

Speaking of azaleas... I'd never seen so many, so HUGE and so in bloom until this weekend. And the wishteria (sp). Vibrant purple, pure whites. Lovely.

"And by now the azaleas are blazing... and there's parties every night on the street"

Tam, make her some FM. I'm useless.

My azaleas are not blooming yet. I am bummed because they are the only pretty thing in my yard
