It rained most of the day so I took this photo from the car when Marshall and I were on our way home from LaGrange, Ga. This is a paper mill near Cave Spring, Ga., and those smoke stacks (or whatever they are called) are gigantic! And shoo--this place stinks worse than death. *gag*Marshall had to do a job today near LaGrange and we left later than we intended because we had to take Lucy to the vet. Her left eye has been poked, or something else has happened. I tried the Murine but it hasn't helped and her eyeball actually looks swollen.
The dr. gave her some antibiotics that I have to put in her eye twice daily. It's a gel, and not a drop, so I sure hope it works. Her eye is blood red and looks like it's about to pop. Eew! He said whatever happened that it must've been a pretty hard hit--he called it a "trauma." :( I told him that she's a little nutty and goes head-on all the time. We're wondering if maybe she accidentally got poked at the groomers when they were trying to groom her face. He said she should be fine unless it gets infected.
We spent the majority of the day in the car driving to LaGrange, and then driving back home. The actual job didn't take nearly as long as we thought but we were both filthy. We had a great time while we were in the car. We talked a lot and as you already know, I very much enjoy our trips together.
G'night. :)
