Almost Finished!

This shot CRACKS me up. Brooke had been laying there with Lucy, but when Brooke got up, she just covered Lucy up, and Goose (as we call her sometimes) went back to sleep. I LOVE that she only bothered to open one eye to look at me. LOL I've told y'all how much I love her, right? ;)

I was dreaming this morning that Marshall's side of the bed turned into a pool of black water. It was pitch black in my room and for some reason we had a few candles lit, even though we were both asleep. I could see the candles reflecting in the water (which was eerily black).

He raised up on his side and then started scooting over to my side of the bed so that he wouldn't get wet. Since he started scooting over, apparently I did too, and I was trying to move fast so he could get over and not get wet.

I fell out of the bed. I fell HARD, too, and landed on my shoulder. It was so loud and so hard that it woke Marshall up. NOTHING wakes him up so that was pretty impressive. :) I thought my dream was real so I was scared and I hopped up really fast to make sure he was ok, and that's when I finally realized everything was a dream.

I hurt my shoulder pretty bad. It's ok as long as I keep it still but otherwise I get a hard sharp pain going through it. I also cut my toes on a hope chest that was against the wall. I would've loved to have been whining about it all day, but we've been so busy, and the kids weren't here, so I thought I would whine to y'all. You're welcome.

Marshall left early this morning and went and got the rest of the stuff that we needed to finish the porch. He also picked up the furniture we bought yesterday at Home Depot. When he got home he used a sprayer and sprayed the rest of the deck stain on, and then we put the furniture together while we waited for that to dry.

I HOPE that some of the stain soaks in better than what it has. The deck (and not the porch) looks glossy because there's so much stain on it. :( He really did a thorough job, that's for sure. ;)

Tomorrow Marshall, Cain, and Jake will put the screen up for the porch and I'm so excited I can't wait. I've been waiting for this to be finished since last October. My hubby has just been so busy, and we were saving the money, that we weren't able to finish it before now. Yay! :)

Brooke and Cain worked for Kandi again today and they didn't get home until almost 8. I fixed a huge supper and I don't even think they ate. :( Oh well, at least Marshall and Jake enjoyed it.

Hear about Manson follower Susan Atkins being denied parole, even though she has brain cancer and only has about three months to live? I'm sorry, but I think she's right where she needs to be. She stabbed Sharon Tate to death because she got tired of hearing her beg for her life. Sharon Tate was almost 9 months pregnant. Yep, Atkins is right where she needs to be.

The Dark Knight premiered in NYC and from the reviews everyone seems to believe that Heath Ledger will get an Oscar nod. Even his peers said that Heath played that part so well that he WAS the Joker. I can't wait to see it! :) Only three more days!

I started to post about Atkins tonight too. I think it is awesome that she is being denied parole. I looked at stuff online about the case. There is one shot of her and the other Manson women having a grand ole time laughing over what they did. The bitch.

Tate was 8 months pregnant and begged for the life of her unborn child. Atkins didn't listen. It makes me sick.

As for the bed story... When we got off the phone, oh how I laughed just imagining it. Then I thought of screaming so loud one night when someone came to bed and started getting undressed that I laughed even harder. Then I though of ninja mom. Good times.

I miss you bunches! Friday night... don't make plans. You must join Donna, Gert and I. You and your herd.

I agree... I do not believe she needs parole either, the system is finally right on one case.
The Heath Ledger thing makes me sad all over again. I look at pictures of him and it makes me sad.
I hope your shoulder gets better.
Love,
Chas
