Happy Birthday, Mom!

We are in South Carolina and I have no internet access.

Marshall and I are in South Carolina, as most of you already know. He had to come down here to finish up a bit of work so I came along with him. We have ONE day to enjoy so after he finished his work, we came down to Folly Beach, near Charleston, which is where we are now. We have to go home tomorrow. :(

Right now, I'm sitting in our bed in the hotel room, and the only light in the room is the glow of this computer screen. I have the blinds open and I'm watching the lightning light up the ocean in brillant flashes. It's just beautiful...and quite peaceful, too.

The storm front started moving through earlier this afternoon. It was HUGE and it was beautiful. Marshall and I had just got here about half an hour earlier and we were walking on the beach when we noticed that it was getting darker. I took lots of photos of the sky. I LOVE watching a storm move across the ocean. It's so very pretty to see. Here it is just a few minutes after I took that first photo:

Happy 59th Birthday to my Mom. I'm not sure why I'm wishing her a happy birthday on here though, she doesn't have a computer. :) Wow, she's 59. I can't wait to remind her several times over that she'll be 60 in a year. She'll thank me for it, I'm sure.

Here's us a LONG time ago, at Jungleland in Panama City Beach, Fla. I remember being there. I remember those parrots on me and they were HUGE. I was so excited and a bit freaked out, too. Anyway, the photo needs some repairs but it's one of my favorites. I think my Mom looks so pretty.

Isn't she gorgeous? I think so. I need to get this photo fixed soon. Seems like yesterday...

Have a good one. :)
