On the Road Again

Today has been a pretty good day. Marshall and I just got back from eating at Longhorns where we celebrated Kevin Bacon's 50th birthday. ;)

(Kevin Bacon is FIFTY! How did that happen?!)

We were driving down the road today and was listening to the radio. I almost spewed my Coca~Cola everywhere when this commercial came on, (nothing to see in this, just listen):

LMBO! "Dignity is overrated!" Hee hee. What a great commercial. All of those commercials crack me up, but I really think this one is my favorite. Who thinks these things up?

Brooke was driving my truck today and some *%#@*& ran the red light and hit her. Then he kept driving. Actually she doesn't know if it was a he or she because it happened so fast. Marshall and I were close by so we met her and there was no damage to my car. Somehow the person only managed to scratch my tire really bad. It's a good thing for the person that I couldn't find him because I'm 100-percent positive that I would've done some damage to him, and I ain't even kiddin'. Freakin' idiot.

G'night. :)

I'd have hate to have had to hunt someone down for hurting baby girl. Remind Donna to tell you about the kid that hit her recently...

I bet we are all just a few degrees away from Kevin Bacon. For me, I bet the connection is John Prine.

And as for the commercials.... love them love them. I've shsshed people in the car with me so I can hear them.

I think next party (this Saturday maybe) we should write our own...

And I think it should involve lawn mower blades.

First I love the ad campaign that Budweiser has come up with for radio, it is clever and very fun! I love listening to them.

I am so glad Brooke was ok and your truck undamaged.
When my son totaled my car, my first question was, are you okay? He was.
My second unsaid thought was [even though I was upset about my NEW car being totaled]...I'd rather send a car to the junk yard than bury a child.

Angels on Brooke's shoulders!

hahahha i LOVE those commercials I have a cd of them that I made (somewhere - no clue where it went) because i could listen to them all day. seems they haven't made a new one in MONTHS! Lex and Terry (rock 105) had the two guys on there about a year ago... did you know that they had done hundreds of those commercials before they met in person ? and the guy who sings in the background... is the guy who sang on the Rocky sound track (eye of the tiger). Look it up :)
