Barfy McPukePants

Brooke woke up this morning very excited because her boyfriend, Chad, is coming up to spend the weekend with us. Even though she wasn't feeling top notch yesterday, she seemed to be fine for a little while today and even worked hard on straightening the house. Unfortunately she became quite sick this evening and so we canceled all of our plans. Now I'm just praying that she will feel better soon. :( I'm also praying that Chad (or the rest of us) doesn't get whatever virus she has. Bless her heart.

Chad got here around ....well, I can't remember what time he got here, but we're happy to see him. We haven't seen him in quite some time. I'm hoping that Brooke isn't sick the whole time he is here because I know she will be so upset about it. She has to go back to school week after next and when she does she will live about 3 hours from him instead of 1.5 hrs. or 2, depending on traffic.

My insomnia has been in full-force for quite some time now. I don't know why I can't find anything to help me sleep. Nothing I do, nothing I take (over the counter drugs, and some prescription drugs like Ambien, Lunesta, etc) works--nothing. I can take a Benadryl and that knocks my butt out though. I HATE, HATE, HATE taking meds and I wish I could find some relief someHOW. :( Last night I was falling asleep about the same time my hubby was getting up for work. It's so frustrating.

I can think of one thing that you have NOT changed that might help. Your diet. I'm serious. You need some veggies sunshine. Lay aside the PB sandwiches and Cheerios and eat some fruits and veggies. Maybe that would be something? Or maybe I'm crazy.

Well there is one more thing. Go to bed at the same exact same time each night, exercise early in the day...
