Happy Birthday Baby!

This is my honey with two of his siblings. We went to a cookout today with the extended family and had a great time. Actually the whole day has been terrific.

We got up this morning and had a birthday breakfast, which is really just a normal breakfast but with me telling him happy birthday several times in between. :) After that, we headed the long way to Sand Mountain, through Tiftonia, Tenn., and then through Nickajack. The ride was terrific. I love seeing the water (the Tennessee River) and the large bridges over that way.

We didn't know the cookout was going to be at his cousin's house, which is just across the pasture from where his parents live. We thought it was just going to be a cookout with his mom and dad. We were delighted to see lots of his family members. I had a good time just listening to them all talk. Normally they pull out the banjos, guitars, fiddles, etc. and play some good music, but not this time around. I missed that, but we still had a great time.

We headed home and didn't do a thing when we got here. As a matter of fact, I'm SO sleepy that I'm getting ready to hit the hay. :)

My hubby had a very happy birthday and I'm so glad that he did. I know he missed the kids and wished that they could've been here. He's 42 today...just gettin' old. ;) I sure do love him.

:)

Night.
