I'm craving fall. The Autumnal Equinox isn't until Sept. 22. That seems SO far away. I have cute, CUTE fall decorations. Can't I set them out now, don't you think? To me, fall begins when school starts back. Can I help that most schools around here start so early in the year? I can set my decorations out, right? :) I mean, it's almost September anyway, so I can use most of my fall stuff in September, then set my Halloween stuff out in October, right? Do I hear a "yes"?! Anyone? Please? :)Since I have fall in the brain, I'm also ready to read the Little House series again. Funny how I was thinking about them when I'm in my bedroom working on invoices for Marshall, and then I hear the theme song for the show blaring on the television in the living room. :) Anyway, I read the books year before last, and set out to read them this past year and never finished the series that time around. I don't have the books so I have to go to the library, which is fine, but taking the books back to the library on time always seems to be a big problem for me. I don't know why... Anyway, I LOVE those books and if you haven't read them, you should. Seriously, they are terrific.
It's hot outside today. The temp right now is 90 degrees. At least there is no humidity. We've had a pleasant few days and I have actually been able to open all the windows for the past few days (not today though). (Ok, just several minutes later at 4:25 p.m. the temp has gone up two degrees. Yuck!)
Would you believe Marshall and I went to bed last night at 8:30? I was so sleepy that I couldn't hardly keep my eyes open. I wasn't able to fall asleep so we watched "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town," which starred Gary Cooper. Wow, what a looker he was! The movie was great, but I fell asleep about halfway through so I'm going to watch it again so I can see the rest of it.
We're going to cookout tonight, just the two of us. We've been catching up some paperwork for the company and just hanging out together today. We're both enjoying each other very much.
Have a great evening.
