I'm Home. Yay. :(

This morning Brooke and I were doing pretty much everything we could do to make ourselves laugh so we wouldn't cry. I THOUGHT we were both making funny faces in this photo, but apparently Brooke wasn't playing along.

I left her house at 10 a.m. and got home a little before 3 p.m. I'm tired, and sad, but I'm getting better. I think. I'm still going back and forth. I'm getting a taste of the silence, and I keep waiting for Cain to get home. I'll be glad when that feeling subsides. When I'm here, I keep expecting him to walk through the door.

I thought I was going to have to be home alone tonight, but thank gosh Marshall is on his way home. Until then, I'm listening to the pouring rain and watching the director's cut of Alien. Alien is my second favorite film (right behind Jaws, of course) and I've watched it more times than I can count (just ask my family) but I don't think I've ever watched the director's cut.

I think this movie is timeless. It was made in 1979 (I had just turned 10) and the special effects are just as good as anything they can make today. I think it's fantastic. :)

Ok, well, I'm going to pay attention. Later, gators.

I love it! Ya'll are so cute!

Next night Marshall is gone it's you and me babe. I'm coming down with Bear Bear in tow and we are going to watch Hellboy. Don't ask me why. I've never seen it but I heard he likes cats.

I understand the keeping waiting for him to walk through the door sensation. It's been almost a year and a half for me and I still feel it. I hope yours doesn't last as long.

I love you!
