This is part of the view as you're going down the interstate in Kentucky. It is SO beautiful up there and I can't wait to return in the fall to see all those trees changing colors. Cain is so lucky that he gets to live there for the next few years. Really, we should move up there close to him just to see the trees, right?!
So yesterday I was messing around with Blogger and didn't realize that I had screwed up all of my links. I was trying to make different sections with this new Blogger layout they have going on (and I love). Brooke called me last night and asked why I had removed her link. I didn't intentionally remove any link so I will get all that straightened out. :)
I have all my windows opened today and I'm cleaning up the house. We have storage bins all over the place that Brooke was going through, and then a few that the kids didn't need and sent back home with me. Unless I decide to give this stuff to Goodwill, I should have quite a bit of fun things for a yard sale or to sell on ebay. Maybe both even. :)
I'm doing better today. I was going to spend the day with my Mom and talk to her about some things we need to talk about but she had something come up so I'm enjoying my first real day at home alone in I can't remember when. Like I said, the windows are open and I'm enjoying hearing nothing but the birds and my fans blowing. No music, no people, no television, just peace and quiet.
Of course, I'd give that up in a second to have the kids back here. ;) But, since that isn't going to happen I'm enjoying it. Sometimes I really, really like to be by myself (as I'm sure everyone does) and today is one of those days.
Later, gators.
