I Don't Understand

This is where I have spent my day: on the couch, reading in between cat naps. Last night's little episode with my chest feeling like it was about to implode, plus still struggling with these allergies or this cold or whatever the soup this is, has left me exhausted. Honey was tired, too. We didn't do a single thing today.

Lucy is SERIOUSLY freaking me out. She is absolutely terrified of her water bowl. I've tried everything I can think of and I'm calling the vet in the morning to see if he has any tips for me. I've Googled to look for help but there's just too many varying things said, and no real help.

I've read that dogs will drink when they are thirsty enough; that they're not stupid and WILL drink, but I've also read that some dogs have dehydrated because they were so scared of their bowls.

I've talked about this before, but now she's getting worse--or more scared--and I just don't understand it. I've moved her bowls, tried different bowls, tried saucers, tried putting it on the hardwood, on carpet; taking her collar off, leaving it on, and NOTHING helps.

I had intentions of going to the New Salem Mtn. Festival today, or to the Ga. Apple Festival, but honestly just didn't feel like doing either. :( I hope at some point this week that Kandi and I can go shooting. Our leaves aren't changing too much just yet, but it can't be too far off. :)

G'night.

Allergies stink!!! I was so plugged and sneezing all yesterday morning, until the kids got me out and running around.
