Sick of the Rain

I didn't leave the house today at all and that was very nice. It seems we're never here anymore. Of course, it's pouring down rain --again-- and just very ugly outside. I'm ready for the sun to come back. I'm just very tired of the rain.

I have taken advantage of the rain in a couple of ways. I've gotten all my laundry caught up and I've also caught up on some reading. I've been cooking a lot, too. Last night we had a small baked (Smithfield) ham and tonight we're having baked chicken. :)

I really want to go to some fall festivals. I'm going to try to go to one on Sunday when we get back from Kentucky. I also want to go to Elijay to get myself some apples and to see what's going on over that way as far as fall color is concerned.
