Doggy Woes

Cain came down and we took Titan (his Labrador) and Hopper to the vet. We were there for quite a while.

Hopper is being treated with antibiotics, pain meds, & an eye ointment. Cain pointed out that one of Hopper's eyes is clouded over. The vet seems to think that it's a result of one of the bites that she got from River. He said we would wait to see if her eye clears up after all of these meds.

Titan has several small knots popping up on him. He has some on his face and some along his back. The vet is also treating him with antibiotics. He said that if the antibiotics don't work then he will have to send Titan for further testing because he may have a fungal infection from the ponds that he constantly swims in. He said if he DOES have a fungal infection (although he doesn't think he does), that the medicine for that is quite expensive. :(

I sure hope our buddies are okay. I just love 'em so much.

Did I mention that Brooke is in Fla. for 11 days and that she took Humphrey with her? Lucy and I are missing Humphrey very much. :( We miss Brooke a little bit, too, but mostly Humphrey. ;)
