That's River, my rescued Mountain Cur. Isn't she beautiful? I sure think so. She sat with my while I did some birdwatching. She mostly ate sticks, but she was still good company.

I was trying to rake around my birdfeeders because I've noticed the neighbor's cats down near them twice now. If I see that one of their many cats gets one of my birds I'm not going to be a happy camper. At all.
Today was one of those days that was just perfect. I hope yours was, too.
