I just love my chicken coop. We still have a few things we need to do but it's coming together nicely. We recently put netting over the top to keep them from flying out and to keep hawks from flying in. It was a pain in the butt to get that thing fixed but I'm glad that we did it. Love my chickens!
I had to shove Trifexis (heartworm and flea medicine combined into "one easy pill") hidden in hot dogs down the throats of Jack & River. S-H-O-V-E. And they still spit them out (after eating the hot dog from around the pill). We fought and wrestled until I finally got them to take the pills. Then what do they do? They grab raw potatoes and fight over them and try to eat them. Eat raw potatoes. Dogs. GRRRRR!
