Home Sweet Home

It's the Return of the Pod People! Aaaaah! Actually these little weird things are caused by "gall moths" or something of that sort. There's larva in them there pods. I spotted them when Dad and I were taking photos of a church that he's going to paint.

Except for visiting my old workplace, the bank, and the grocery store, I was at home all day and it felt glorious! I didn't accomplish too much BUT I did cook a roast and it was so good that I wish I could have the flavor pumped through an IV or something. :o)

For the first time in the 20 years Marshall and I have been married, I cooked the roast in the crockpot. Normally I cook it in the oven in a roasting bag. Now it's always been good, but ohmygosh, in the crockpot the meat gets so tender that it's just too good to imagine.

G'night. :)

Hah-hah! I could have clued you in on the pot roast thing! I am a lazy cook, stick it in the crock pot and let it simmer while I am at work. Done when I get home and ohhh so tender! Dump a little Italian dressing on it for a little zip.
Uh-oh, no one is supposed to know that I can cook!

IF YOULL PUT IN A COUPLE PACKS OF BROWN GRAVY MIX AND ABOUT 3 CUPS OF WATER, TEAR THE ROAST UP IN TO SMALL PEICES WHEN ITS DONE AND SERVE IT OVER SOME BREAD WITH MASHED POTATOES AND SLAW, MAYBE SOME GREEN BEANS. ITS JUST LIKE SUZYS.( OR SO KANDI SAYS )
