Relaxing Day

Today was such a beautiful day. It wasn't too hot and there was a nice wind blowing all day. It felt sooo good out there. I worked on my house and caught up on some reading. I just really enjoyed being home. :)

My Dad is back in the hospital. He's been in now for a solid week. When he was in a couple of weeks ago they let him go home. They did NOT try to figure out what was wrong, just treated him for the pain that he was having. Now he has a different doctor and they are working on finding out what the problem is. He's not doing well and I'm really worried about him. I mean, he's not in danger of dying, but he's still having a rough go. It really upsets me because my Dad has always been so very healthy. They are thinking that one of the problems that he's having (and I won't go into the details) is going to be a continuing problem throughout the rest of his life. He will have to go through some difficulty every day to help with this problem. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I also wanted to give a quick thanks to Chrisi Lou Who, who with her family took care of all of my pets and my house while we were away. Thank you so very much, Chrisi! Love ya!

AND I also want to wish my buddy Val a very happy belated birthday. I'm so sorry Val that I missed it! I was in Kansas--that's a good excuse, right? ;) I hope your birthday was a beautiful one!

1. I have broken two bones in my lifetime.
2. I have had to get a few stitches.
3. The worst I've ever injured myself was when I broke my arm by falling off the monkey bars when I was six.
4. I've had to go to the Emergency room four times.
5. On a scale of 1 (being the highest) to 10 (being the lowest), my pain tolerance is a 10. I'm a huge sissy and think I'm dying if I get a hangnail.

No problem girl! You know your house is great for parties, lots of room, not too many breakables. ;oD

Rachel...your dad is more important than my birthday so I'd like to send well wishes to him! Did you see Toto while you were in Kansas?
;-)

The birthday was no big deal after all!
