My mom called me today and I haven't talked to her in weeks. She said that she has been training for and going to school to become a certified nursing assistant. She is almost finished with her schooling and she said she is living healthier than she has in years. :) I'm SO excited for her and I certainly hope it lasts. She has also started back to church and I told her how extremely proud of her I am. And I am. My mother and I have a difficult relationship, but it looks like she's headed in the right direction. I hope she keeps moving in this direction.I went to the library today and checked out "Five People You Meet In Heaven." Brooke said it's one of the best books she's ever read (and she reads a LOT) so I'm about to go devour it.

So, did you like the book? I loved it! Thinking about reading it again. While it has a strong New Age slant, I agree with many things. I don't believe people are in our lives accidentally.
