Where Does All The Dust Come From?!

The moon was just a sliver last night but so beautiful just sitting there with the clouds. I took Lucy out to do her stuff but grabbed the camera when I saw how pretty the clouds were. It was a beautiful night.

Last night I printed off a Bible study program that helps you to read the Bible in a year. I chose to read it in chronological order but wondered if there are rules to reading the Bible. Should one read it as is--beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation or is it ok to read it as it happened? I thought I would understand it better that way. Here is the guide I'm going by. If any of you who are more informed about the Bible please let me know what you think about this program: CLICK HERE. If you know a better program than that, please let me know. :)

I've started this once before but didn't finish. I hope this is my year. And I'm not going to really limit myself to one year. I will take my time, but enjoy having a guideline of sorts to help me out. I've read several complete chapters: Mark, Acts, Romans, Colossians, James, Song of Solomon, Joel, and Jonah. I'll read them again though just to refresh my memory. I really enjoyed reading Romans and look forward to going over that again.

This is my Bible:
My parents gave it to me on Christmas, 1974 when I was five years old. I remember that day because my Dad spelled my name wrong when he was writing my name in it and he got really upset. He initially wrote "Karry" instead of "Kerry" but realized what he had done as soon as he started that first "r". It was ok with me but it made him really sad. He corrected it and of course you can still see the correction. I love it. :)

Anyway, I am using the King James Version, of course, but I also have a New International Version Study Bible to help me understand the things that I don't understand because of how they talked/wrote back then. I've learned that the NIV Bible has left things out so I will only use it as a reference when I need it. I'm very excited about this endeavor. :)

My house is so horribly dusty. I can't figure it out. I can honestly dust in the morning and by that afternoon you can see a small layer settled on the furniture again. I don't know where it comes from. My house is 62 years old but that wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it?! I bet it's coming from our floor furnace. We still don't have CH&A and have one of those very old gas floor furnaces (which keeps this house remarkably warm). I bet you anything that's where it comes from. Maybe the dust from the basement blowing up through it? Grrr!

Marshall is on his way home today and I can't wait to see him. He has been gone since Tuesday. We were hoping to go camping this weekend but obviously since he's still gone those plans went down the drain. We have other plans for this afternoon but I hope he makes it home in time.

Have a beautiful Saturday!

If you want to talk about dust come over to our house. It's eerily dusty and I have no idea where it comes from.

I can dust my desk completely and within a week it's dusty again. I suppose it's typical to get dusty within a week, but I'm talking dust bunnies here. Dust rabbits. Dust Elephants!

It's wacky I'll tell you.

The room in my house with the best light in it is strangley enough, Zack's old room (now Charles room soon to be my white reading room). I was laying in bed one day and watching the dust particles dance through the light. It was so pretty but I though Eew! I'm breathing that crap!

It was like stars and planets and as I ran my hand through the beam, the particles would seperate. It was oddly relaxing.

Love you!
