I'm reading the Twilight series of books, and even though I fought tooth and nail with Kandi and Brooke, insisting that I did NOT want to read them, now I can't put them down. I've been staying up until 2 or 3 in the morning, until my eyes are literally crossing and blurring, reading the darn things. Sure, I'm 39, but I love 'em. I can't help it. Someone, help me. Please. ;)
Kandi and I went shooting today and had a great time. The colors are great around here. It's just beautiful. My hubby is working about two hours from home so he isn't getting in until late so I was glad to get out of the empty house.
After we finished shooting, we went to her studio and hung out for a few hours. She worked on her wedding albums (she's also a photographer, in case you're not in the know) and I read. I'm almost finished with the second book (which I started yesterday) and I need the third book. I need it like an alcoholic needs his drink. ;) I'm kidding. I don't need it that bad. I'm kidding. I do need it that bad. (That last part is for Kandi, who loves the Judy Grimes character on SNL---how does she talk that fast?!). Weirdo.
Anyway, we stopped and had supper, and then on the way home stopped by a house who's owners decorates the yard for Halloween like most people decorate their yard for Christmas. I took Frimpong, and got several shots of him in various spooky poses. I also got the soup scared out of me when a "corpse" popped up at me. I was NOT expecting it and I yelled rather loudly. People laughed, but I didn't see the humor in it. ;)
The yard was fantastic. Those people have done a great job decorating for Halloween. Their yard was decorated with better things than I've seen in a spook house. It was great fun.
Have a great weekend. We're headed to Virginia tomorrow to see my Toukie Bear play against UVA. I can't wait to see him. We had a bit of an argument the other day and I need to hug him. :)
Later, gators.
